GRANVILLE -- Theresa Elizabeth Wilkins passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Theresa was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Granville, N.Y., the daughter of George and Pearl (King) McKeighan.
Theresa's entire life revolved around her family. She was a loving wife and devoted mother to 10 children. Her career was a homemaker. In addition to raising her own 10 children, she cared for several nieces and nephews as her own. Theresa loved cooking and baking for her family and all aspects of her home life.
She was predeceased by her husband; a daughter, Lorraine Ramey; and her siblings: Floyd, Daniel, Theodore and George McKeighan, and Winifred Croff, Stella Allen and Mertie Cafaro.
Survivors are her nine children: Joe Wilkins and his wife, Barbara, of Salem, Stephen Wilkins of Hebron, Bruce Wilkins and his wife, Glenda, of Granville, Sheila Stevens and her husband, Mark, of Hampton, Charlene Mabb of Saratoga, Fay Ellis of Schuylerville, Donna Wilkins, Sandra Wilkins and Elaine Wilkins. She was blessed with 21 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving Theresa are two sisters: Hazel Baron and Pearl Fales. She is also survived by a very special nephew, Joe Coley.
