EVENING SHADE Robert Phillip Zimmerman II, 53, of Evening Shade died Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock.
Born in Roundtop, N.Y., he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Vietnam War, and worked as a general contractor. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, served as a youth leader of the Boy Scouts of America and was a member and second counselor at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ash Flat branch.
Survivors include his wife, Linda V. Hildenbrand Zimmerman of the home; a son, Robert P. Zimmerman III of Evening Shade; three daughters, Lindy Norris of Batesville, Tammy Glisson of Melbourne and Dottie Zimmerman of Evening Shade; a sister, Lillian Zimmerman of Bayport, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
