  Record-Journal March 21, 2007 Gregory Gavin, 67, passed away, Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007 at MidState Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on Aug. 30, 1939, a son of the late Clarence and Laura (Hubbell) Gavin. He attended Pine Harbor School in Pascoag, RI and Mansfield Training School in Mansfield. He briefly lived in Wallingford before moving to Meriden. He is survived by his sisters, Joan Gavin Cooper and Jean Gavin Perretti and her husband, Jack; and a host of nieces and nephews.
