WALLINGFORD - Francis LeBarron, 81, departed this life on Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at the Masonic Healthcare Center. He was the beloved husband of 58 years of Joan (Rose) LeBarron.
Francis was born in Meriden on Feb. 1, 1935, to the late Alva and Mary (Folan) LeBarron. Francis was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked as an operator for Cytec Industries for 39 years and had worked for Gaylord Hospital. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Meriden. He was a member of the Lyman Hall High School class of 1954 reunion committee. He also was the past president of the Quinnipiac Campers.
In addition to his wife, Francis is survived by his daughters, Patricia Zemke and her husband, Robert, of Wallingford, Nancy Coppola, of Meriden; grandchildren, Ssg. Sean Zemke and his wife, Sfc. Electra, of Maryland, Jessica LeBarron and her fiancé, David Cunningham, of Wallingford, Adam Zemke and his wife, Joslyn, of Meriden, Eric Gaudette and Kristyn Ward, of Wallingford, Travis Coppola, of Wallingford, Amy Coppola, of Meriden; and great-grandchildren, Keana, Aidan, Jaxon, Alivia and Erin. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen LeBarron.
