  Legacy March 21, 2002 Carolyn E. Andrews, 85, of Durham, NH, and Cambridge, MA, died suddenly, in her sleep, on March 20, 2002, at the Harvard Club in New York City. Mrs. Andrews was born on October 3, 1916 in Berkeley, CA, and was raised in Kodiak, Alaska. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Nellie Erskine. She returned to California and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1936 with a Bachelor's in Art History. From 1971 until 1981 she was the Associate Master of Leverette House at Harvard University where her husband, Kenneth Andrews, was the Master of Leverette House. She was the former widow of Chaffee Hall. Family members include her husband of 32 years, Kenneth R. Andrews Sr., one son, Douglas Hall of San Francisco, CA, two daughters, Marie Katrak of Boston, MA and Durham, NH and Lyn Hejinian of Oakland, CA, one stepson, Kenneth R. Andrews, Jr. of Marlboro, MA, one stepdaughter, Carolyn Andrews of Maynard, MA, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
