Auburn, May 10. - Funeral services for Stuart J. Clark, who died at his home in Auburn Tuesday evening, will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Advent Christian church, Rev. J. T. Johnson officiating. The
Mr. Clark was born Jan. 28, 1871 in Abingdon, Virginia, and he came to Auburn in 1899 and engaged in business of manufacturing cigars until a year ago when he retired on account of failing health. He was married to Miss Sibyl Lowry in 1903.
He was a member of the Elks' lodge of Bristol, Tenn., the Masonic lodge of Abingdon, Va., the Cigar Makers' union of Springfield and the Auburn lodge of the Modern Woodmen. He united with the Advent Christian church of Auburn about a year ago.
Surviving are his wife; three children, Virginia Irene, Lowry Wadsworth and James Stuart, all residing at home; his mother, Mrs. Irene Clark of Abingdon, Va., eight brothers and two sisters.
