DONNELLY — Services for Effie May Jones, 61, of Donnelly, who died Saturday morning at McCall, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Donnelly Bible Center, with the Rev. R. C. Holmlund, of the McCall Conservative Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Russell Schott, of Donnelly Bible Center. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Kohlerlawn in Nampa. Walker Chapel in McCall will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jones was born April 18, 1906 at Notus. She was married there to Earl Jones in 1924. The couple lived at Notus and Sunny Slope before moving to the Donnelly area in 1937, where they have since made their home. She was a member of the Notus Baptist Church, and a 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Jones, of Donnelly; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Kessler, of Donnelly, and Mrs. Della Jean Ireland, of McCall; a brother, Roy Horrace, of Caldwell; four sisters, Mrs. Audrey Wright, of Nampa, Mrs. Edith Mathews, of Boise, Mrs. Roy Allen, of Newport, Wash., and Mrs. Guy Shell, of Rapid City, S.D.; five stepsisters, Mrs. Letha Thomas, of Parma, Mrs. Jewel Cunningham, Anaconda, Mont., Mrs, Otto Rayels, of Caldwell, Mrs. Bertha Gehart, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Beulah Wilson, of Tombstone, Ariz., and five grandchildren. ]
A sister preceded her in death in 1956.
