  Hartford Courant HORNE, Phyllis G. Phyllis Goodwin Horne, 88, of Wethersfield died Friday, (September 16, 2005) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Somerville MA, she was the daughter of the late Garfield W. and Edith M. (Goodwin) Horne and the stepdaughter of the late Rev. Albert Abbott and lived in Wethersfield for many years. She attended Simmons College, the University of Rhode Island and received her Masters degree from Trinity College. She was an avid reader and lover of books and shared that passion for over 30 years as a librarian at Bulkeley High School in Hartford. She was predeceased by her step-sister C. Isabella Abbott and step-brother Winston O. Abbott.
