  Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA) June 22, 2004 WORCESTER Ruth A. (Pelland) Balcius, 52, of Sunderland Rd., died at her home on June 21, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by a son Mark Balcius of Chandler, AZ; a daughter Lynn Balcius of Lindenhurst, NY; her mother Charlotte Pelland of Uxbridge; a brother Richard Pelland of Cape Cod; a sister Mary Jane Pelland of NH; her former husband Peter Balcius of Worcester; several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces; and many other beloved family members and friends. She is predeceased by her father Raymond Pelland and a brother Robert Pelland. She was born in Northbridge, on Aug. 8, 1951, the daughter of Raymond and Charlotte (Noyes) Pelland. She lived for many years in the Linwood section of Northbridge, Millbury and Worcester. She was a graduate of Worcester State College. She was a teacher in the Worcester and Millbury schools for many years and owned and operated Ventures Unlimited Travel Agency in Millbury. She was a former member of Good Shepherd Church in Linwood and St. Bridget?s Church in Millbury.
