  The Hartford Courant (CT) ecember 6, 1997 PACKER. Lee C. Packer, 63, of Harwich, MA formerly of East Windsor, died unexpectedly Wednesday, (Dec. 3, 1997) in Harwich. He was the husband of Ruth L. (Whalen) Packer. He was born in Pittsfield, MA and raised in Enfield. He graduated from Suffield Academy. In 1954 he joined the Army and was honorably discharged in 1956. He worked for S.N.E.T. for 35 years retiring in 1989. After living in East Windsor most of his life, he moved to Harwich in June of this year. He was a member of Morning Star Masonic Lodge No. 28 in Warehouse Point. He was a member of Cape Old Timers Softball League on Cape Cod. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, William C. Packer of Stafford Springs; a daughter, Sharon Wright of Harwich; a sister, Carol J. Horton of Andover; and two granddaughters.
