ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Joan A. Forrest, 73, died July 7, 2003, in St. Petersburg where she had resided since 1987.
She was born June 14, 1930, in Fitchburg, Mass., a daughter of Carroll and Juanita Durant.
A former resident of Westbrook, Maine, and Nashua, N.H., Mrs. Forrest retired after 17 years as an administrative assistant with Sanders Associates.
She was a communicant of Gateway Christian Center in St. Petersburg. She had served as a volunteer for the International Adventures in Medicine Ministries, for the Society of Christian Missionaries, and for Small Miracles International Adoption Agency.
Family members include three children, Richard Forrest of Nashua, N.H., Juanita Cote of Merrimack, N.H., and Jacqueline Lorento of Clearwater; and 10 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Russell E. Forrest.
