  Ashland Times-Gazette (OH) April 23, 2016 NEW PARIS -- Jody Fairchild, 49, of New Paris passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Foundation in New Paris. She was born Oct. 30, 1966, in Norwalk and lived in New London until she moved to New Paris in 1999. Jody attended Christie Lane Schools in Norwalk. Jody was a former member of First Baptist Church in New London. She is survived by her half-sister, Debbie Bassler; half-brother, Ronnie Hales; and stepbrother, Robert Coffin. In addition to her siblings, she also is survived by her aunts and uncles, Chet (Pam) Fairchild of Wakeman, Gladys (Andrew) Luxon of Norwalk, Virginia Fazenbaker of Norwalk and Agnes "Midge" (Harold) Skiver of Napoleon; and several cousins. Jody was preceded in death by her father, William "Bill" Fairchild; mother, Helen (ne Clark) Smith; stepmother, Mary Ann Fairchild; half-brothers, Bobby Hales and Tommy Adkins; grandparents, Burdell and Esther M. Fairchild and Buford and Frances Clark; and her great-grandparents, Lyle and Katie Knapp.
