  Batavia Daily News February 28, 1975 Corfu – Mrs. Emily J. Chittenden, 80, of 919 Genesee St., died Thursday (Feb. 27, 1975) at Corfu. She was born in Pembroke on Dec. 30, 1894, a daughter of the late Elmer and Martha Currie Haskell. She lived in this area for almost all her life. She was the wife of Edward Nelson Chittenden, who died in 1972, and Charles Higgins, who died in 1924. Mrs. Chittenden is survived by three sons, Elmer Higgins of Corfu, Edward Higgins of Easr Pembroke and Myron Chittenden of Corfu, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
