  Batavia Daily News March 3, 1941 HIGGINS – At the Batavia hospital on March 2, 1941, to Elmer and Florence Swimline Higgins of Corfu, a son. ____ Batavia Daily News January 15, 1946 Corfu – Jan. 15 – Robert Charles Higgins, four year old son of Elmer C. and Florence Swimline Higgins, died at 8 o’clock last evening (January 14, 1946) at the Genesee Memorial hospital after being a patient there for 12 days with leukemia. The child was born March 2, 1941. Besides the parents, a sister, Nancy Lee, 11 months, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Chittenden of Corfu and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Swimline of Orlando, Fla.
