Higgins, 60, of 3077 West Main St. Rd., Friday (April 27, 1984) at Genesee Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Higgins, an employee of the Ford Gum Co., in Akron, was born March 6, 1924, in Corfu, a son of the late Charles E. Higgins and Emily Haskell Higgins Chittenden. Surviving include two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Patricia) Schurr of Akron and Mrs. Timothy (Shirley) Slate of 11 Tracy Ave.; a son, Michael of Florida; two brothers, Elmer Higgins and Myron Chittenden, both of Corfu, and a granddaughter.
