  Portland Press Herald (ME) June 13, 2017 WINDHAM - Arthur Wesley Richardson, 80, died June 10, 2017, at Ledgewood Manor, in Windham. He was born Oct. 2, 1936, in Standish, in the family home, the son of the late Roland A. and Helen Maria (Boothby) Richardson. Arthur graduated from Windham High School in 1956. He joined his father and uncle in the masonry and moving trade and later started his own business, A.W. Richardson & Sons, which became a prominent name in the Windham and Lakes Region community for moving buildings, masonry work and snowplowing. He was on the Windham Fire Department for many years. Arthur married Sandra Loring on Sept. 6, 1958, and settled in Windham, raising four sons. He enjoyed racing at Beech Ridge Speedway and Oxford Plains, roller skating, dancing, camping and mackerel fishing. In his later years he never missed a bean supper. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Tony. Surviving are his wife, Sandra; his sons Timothy Richardson and his wife Antje, of Casco; Terrence Richardson and his wife Iryna, of Windham; Todd Richardson and his wife Pamela, of Raymond; eleven grandchildren, Patrick, Derick, Timothy, Alyssa, Cameron, Viktoria, Wesley and his wife Sandra, Raymond, Randal, Megan Lowell and her husband Joseph, and Nikole Young and her husband Andrew; one great-grandson, Cayden Young; one sister, Marilyn Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.
