  The Oregonian May 23, 1996 Helen E. Fassett, who once worked as a receptionist in the beauty salon in Olds & King department store, died May 19, 1996, in Gresham. She was 91. Mrs. Fassett was born Oct. 22, 1904, in Portland. Her maiden name was Nelson. She attended school in Portland where she lived all her life. She married Harold S. in 1955. He since has died. Survivors include her nephew, Bob Nelson of Madras; and nieces, Elizabeth Hondorf of Incline Village, Nev., and LaVonne Carder of Gresham.
