Helen M. Farr (nee Ellis), age 89, of Falls Township, Pa., died on Monday, August 29, 2005, at her home.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mrs. Farr had lived in Palmyra, N.J., and was a resident of Levittown for the past 40 years. For 30 years she worked in sales and as a secretary for Pomeroy's in Levittown. Helen was a member of St. Joseph the Worker parish. She was an avid artist and enjoyed monthly luncheons with former Pomeroy employees.
Mrs. Farr was the wife of the late Frank R. Farr, mother of the late Frank R. Farr, Jr. and Patricia Murphy, and grandmother of the late Patrick Murphy, Jr.
She was the loving mother of Barbara Harris and her husband, Joseph Peter, of LaGrange Park, Ill. She will also be sadly missed by seven grandchildren, Barbara Murphy Yedman, Kathleen Murphy Pace, Jennifer Murphy Travis, Lesley McNichols, Christopher Reynolds, Cavan and Brynne Farr; ten great grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Elaine Farr of Yardley, Pa.
