  The Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, VA) October 20, 2009 VIRGINIA BEACH - Ethel B. Joslin, 94, of the 900 block of General Stuart Drive, died Oct. 16, 2009. She was born in Somerville, Mass., and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marcelina Butler. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Joslin. She was a homemaker and was good at all the important things: kindness, charity, love and compassion. Ethel is survived by her three children, Nancy Gay of Somerville, Fla., Susan Kavanaugh and husband Phil of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Frederick Joslin Jr. and wife Nancy of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, Craig Kavanaugh, Kathy Smith, Jodi Gay, Angie Benedict, Debbie Villareal and Diane Vachon; and nine great- grandchildren.
