INDIAN FALLS – Edward R. Poerschke, 71, of 7922 Allegany Rd., was pronounced dead on arrival at 10:02 p.m. Saturday (May 9, 1987) at Genesee Memorial Hospital, Batavia.
Born in North Tonawanda on Oct. 20, 1915, he was a son of Rudolph A. and Agnes Wilke Poerschke. He was a machinist at Primas Mold in Buffalo and was a member of the Indian Falls United Methodist Church. Mr. Poerschke served for 12 years as a Town of Pembroke councilman.
Survivors include his wife, Edythe Passmore Poerschke; two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Nancy) Hamilton of Indian Falls and Mrs. Charles (Janice) Hines of North Chili; a son, Roger of Springdale, Ark.; a brother, Paul of Buffalo; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Glidden, Mrs. Clara Freck and Mrs. Ida Sumeriski, all of Florida, and Mrs. Henry (Dolores) Brunea) of Alabama and seven grandchildren.
