  The Columbus Dispatch (OH) September 23, 2006 Marilyn D. Carter, age 78, of Columbus, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Whetstone Care Center. She attended The Ohio State University. Marilyn was an animal lover and avid supporter of animal related charities. She was a gourmet cook and painter, who also enjoyed collecting antiques and travel. She was an instructor at La Belle Pomme cooking school at Lazarus in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Her son, Paul William Carter, precedes her in death. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William G. Carter; special grandchildren, Sarah Sycks and Atticus Alldredge; godson, Will Morgan; and many close friends.
