NORTH ATTLEBORO - Paul R. Lavoie, 57, of 18 Poppasquash Road, a dispatch supervisor for many years at Crosby Valve and Gauge, Wrentham, died Thursday at home. He was the husband of Nancy (Ficco) Lavoie.
Born in Pawtucket, March 1, 1932, he was the son the late Arsene and Aurore (Chandonnaite) Lavoie. He had lived in North Attleboro most of his life. Mr. Lavoie was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis and was a "Friend" of LaSalette Shrine, Attleboro, for many years. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Thomas Lavoie of Providence, Frederick Battersby of Rutland and John Battersby of Easton; two daughters, Kathleen Ramundo of Dumont, N.J., and Teri Lavoie of Providence; two sisters, Jacqueline Barnett of Coventry,R.I., and Theresa Orlinski of Pawtucket; a brother, Roland Laovie in Maine; and two grandchildren.
