  Star Tribune: Newspaper of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis, MN) June 24, 2010 Carole Lucile Pemberton, age 77, of New Hope. Passed away June 20, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Survived by her devoted husband, Theodore (Ted); daughters, Dawn (Shayne) & Kara (Jerry) and grandchildren, Alison (Shawn), Andrea (Russ), Daniel & Sierra. Carole was a wonderful mother, fantastic grandmother, leader, volunteer and a source of constant strength for family and friends that she met along the way. She had a beautiful smile that was quite recognizable and projected the warmth of her personality to everyone. Carole worked many social and civic projects such as Blue Birds, Grade School Activities, Kids Care Connection, I.O.C.P, Light of Hope Ministries, United Methodist Women, Messiah Church Bake Sale, and Vacation Bible Camp. Carole will be greatly missed by her many friends, and her family of which she was the rock and the leader.
