  Tribute Archive Ora Betty (Hancock) Robinson, 97, longtime resident of Yukon, passed away on Monday, October 27, at Forest Glade Assisted Living Center, Bethany. Known to family as Mom Bea, she was born in Rural Runnels County, Texas, on September 19, 1911, the daughter of John W. and Mattie Viola (Cooper) Hancock. Bea was preceded in death by her parents; husband Floyd A. Beck; husband Garl Robinson; son Floyd W. Beck; daughter Naomi Brown; grandson Jeffrey Wayne Brown and great-grandson Christopher E. Brauer. Beas husband of 17 years was killed in a car accident in 1944, the victim of a drunken driver. A widow at age 33 and mother of three small children, Bea worked her way through beauty/cosmetology school, becoming a licensed beautician and hairdresser. She established her own salon, which operated in the Oklahoma State Capitol for 38 years. Bea was a member of the First Baptist Church of Yukon and attended faithfully for many years until her strength began to wane. Survivors include daughter, Lucille Brauer and husband Walter; grandson Steve Brauer and wife Barbara; granddaughter Valerie Pautsch and husband Roger; grandson Allen ODell and wife Mickey; granddaughter Kaye Campbell and husband Richard; grandson James Jim Brown and wife Lisa; grandson Floyd W. Brown and wife Linda; granddaughter Cheryl Rush; grandson Jeffrey Lynn Beck and wife Jackie; granddaughter Sherry Brown and husband Ron; grandson Michael Beck and 15 great-grandchildren.
