Danvers, Mass. – Robert William Haskell, 32, of 157 Maple St., died Aug. 13, 1986, at Hunt Memorial Hospital, Danvers, following a brief illness. He was born in Beverly, Feb. 6, 1954, the son of Barbara Zarella and Norman P. Haskell.
A Navy veteran of 11 years, he served as a petty officer first class on several nuclear submarines, including the USS Finbock and the USS Batfish. He had been living and working in Salt Lake City, Utah, until his recent illness.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Zarella of Readfield, Maine; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Haskell of Danvers; four brothers, Scot Haskell of Bremerton, Wash., James Haskell and Peter Zarella, Jr., both of Gorham, Maine, and Vincent Zarella of Readfield; two stepsisters, Lisa Mosley and Kim Mosley, both of Danvers; grandmothers, Lottie Bruen of Augusta, Maine, and Mildren Gordon of Gardiner, Maine; great grandfather, Lawrence Lane of Gardiner; a niece; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
