- Murdered Hollywood mom Meil Li Haskell was likely bludgeoned, shot, and suffocated before being hacked up with power tools, according to gruesome new details from her autopsy — which could not rule out that she was still alive when she was decapitated.
The 37-year-old wife of Sam Haskell IV, the Hollywood executive's son charged with murdering her and her still-missing parents, was decapitated with a "single sharp force" at the base of her neck, according to the autopsy report obtained by The Post.
An unspecified "sharp powered tool" appears to have been used to remove her head and arms because the bone at the amputation sites was "remarkably smooth," the Los Angeles County Medical Examiners report noted.

Find-a-Grave
A medical examiner's office has confirmed the wife of a Hollywood agent's son is dead more than a month after the agent's son was charged in his wife's death and the deaths of her parents.
Mei Li Haskell's, 37, date of death is listed as November 8 – the day that authorities previously said a woman's torso was found in a Los Angeles dumpster – according to a Los Angeles County medical examiner's office record available online Monday. The record listed her place of death as a parking lot, but does not say how officials determined she is dead. Her husband, Samuel Haskell, was arrested last month after police tracked a torso found in a dumpster November 8 to the Los Angeles home that the couple shared with their children and her parents, authorities said.
Mei Li Haskell, who was 37 when she was allegedly killed, and Samuel have three children between the ages of 6 and 12, and they were found safe at their school. They are now in the custody of the Department of Child and Family Services, reported the Independent.
Days later, on Nov. 8, police arrested Sam Haskell IV, 35, a filmmaker and the son of a well-known Hollywood producer, and charged him with multiple murders in connection with the deaths of Mei, her mother, Yanxiang Wang, 64, and stepfather Gaoshan Li, 72.
Growing up in China, where she worked as a model in her teens, Mei longed for the typical American lifestyle and immigrated to Los Angeles in the mid-2000s. She was studying accounting at California State University, Northridge, and working as a waitress when she met Sam, a fellow student and the son of Hollywood executive Sam Haskell III, who produced TV specials for Dolly Parton and resigned as CEO of the Miss America Organization after sending sexist emails critical of former contestants in 2017.
Sam killed his wife and in-laws — who had last been seen around Nov. 6 Meanwhile friends of Mei are shocked and saddened by the loss of the devoted mom, who had dreams of one day opening a boba tea and sushi shop.
