  Herald & Review (Decatur, IL) October 26, 1994 DECATUR -Harry V. Becker, 76, of Decatur, died Monday (Oct. 24, 1994) in Joplin, Mo. Mr. Becker was born Oct. 20, 1918 in Kenney, the son of Jules and Nora Groves Becker. Mr. Becker was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the China, Burma, India Theater. Mr. Becker worked at A.E. Staley MFG. Co. for 35 years before retiring in 1980. He married Alvera Delano in Oct. 4, 1945. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Ann Winholtz and husband Jim of Decatur; Barbara Trebacz and husband Mark of Washington, Mo.; Shelley Davison and fiancee Phillip Pressgrove of Decatur; brother, Harold Becker of Daytona Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Bret Winholtz, Stacy Beel Haney, Craig Winholtz, Rusty Beel, Kelly Beel, Carri Davison, Matthew Trebacz, Lindsey Davison; greatgrandchildren, Jamie Winholtz, Brian Winholtz, Amanda Haney, Ashley Winholtz, Timmy Winholtz, Joshua Haney, Riley Beel; other relatives and special pet Sammy. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
