  Parsons Sun (KS) August 31, 2016 GRANBY, Mo. — LaVern Walter Fedie, 91, Granby, Missouri, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, in Neosho, Missouri, following a recent illness. LaVern was born Aug. 31, 1924, in Eau Galle, Wisconsin. LaVern served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Rocketdyne as a supervisor and then was a residential contractor. LaVern and Kathryn Delano were married on June 8, 1948, in Garden City. She survives. Other survivors include six children, Cheryl Ford, Karen Gibson and her husband, Jack, all of Neosho, Missouri, Marla Anderson and her husband, Art, of Joplin, Richard Fedie and his wife, Joetta, of Brooksville, Florida, Susan Lesh and her husband, Perry, of Berne, Indiana, and Joyce Kramer and her husband, James, of Parsons; 17 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
