Harry Bolinger of Guymon, died Friday, Sept. 29, 1995 at his home in Guymon.
The son of Hardy and Martha Bolinger, he was born Feb. 18, 1917 in Moscow, Kan. He grew up in this area with a love for horses which he maintained for his entire life. He trained and traded horses in his later years.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. On Dec. 2, 1952 he was united in marriage to Johnnie Walker in Clayton, N.M. They made Hugoton, Kan., their home for three years.
He worked for Mobil Oil while living in Hugoton and was then transferred to the Mobil plant at Guymon where they lived and worked. In 1962 they moved to their present home north of Guymon.
He was a member of the VFW in Hugoton.
Survivors include his wife Johnnie of the home in Guymon; two sons, Roger Bolinger of Guymon and Ronnie Bolinger and his wife Leslie of Longmont, Colo., two stepsons, Larry Collvins and his wife Jo of Guymon, and Mike Scott and his wife Kathy of Magnolia, Ark.; three brothers, Phil Bolinger and his wife Belle of Hugoton, Amos Bloinger and his wife Acula of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Douglas Bolinger and his wife Pauline of Amarillo, Texas; and a sister, Marion Condren of Hugoton. There are three grandchildren, Nathaniel, Shawn and Mona and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dale, and two sisters.
