  The Perryton Herald (TX) June 15, 2000 Sylvia B. TICE, 91, of Liberal, Kansas, died June 10, 2000 at the Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal. She was born October 18, 1908 in Sedgwick, Kansas, and moved to Beaver County, Oklahoma in 1918, where she attended Bethany Grade School. She married Desley M. "Deck" TICE on August 3, 1930 in Balko. He died in 1999. She was a homemaker, and farmed with her husband in Beaver County, until retiring and moving to Liberal in 1971. She and her husband moved to Wheatridge Park Care Center in 1995. She was a member of Western Avenue Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Elmer and Fannie Agnes DELANO; a daughter, Betty Mae; and two brothers, Carl DELANO and Lester DELANO. She is survived by one son, Cecil M. TICE of Broomfield, Colorado; one sister, Belva SMITH of Perryton; and two grandchildren.
