Wanda Nadine Tice, 78, of Broomfield, died Oct. 9 at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette.
She was born July 31, 1932, in Burnsflat, Okla., to Stacy Ward Johnson and Ruby (Browning) Johnson.
She married Cecil M. Tice on April 11, 1952 in Goodwell, Okla.
She received her bachelor's degree from Panhandle State College in Goodwell, Okla., and her master's degree from Western State College in Gunnison. She taught for 34 years, 30 of which were in Colorado. She taught 26 years at Leroy Drive Elementary in Adams 12 school district. She loved teaching and working with children, her family said.
Her hobbies included fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with family.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her, her family said.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clifford, and his wife Bernice, and a niece, Sherry.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil; daughter, Lisa Lear (Thad) of Firestone; grandson, Kendrick; granddaughter, Kassidy, of Firestone; son, Mark Tice, of Westminster; and granddaughter, Taylor Crane, of Benson, Ariz.
