  The Kansas City Star ( MO ) September 25, 1992 J. Lynn Rider, 86, Lexington, Mo ., died Sept. 24, 1992, at Research Medical Center. Mr. Rider was born in Sunshine, Mo ., and moved to Lexington in 1936. He was a maintenance worker for the Standard Oil Co. in Lexington for 31 years, retiring in 1970. He was past master and district deputy grand master of the Lexington Masonic Lodge. He was past commander of the Order of DeMolay, a member of the St. Chrysostom Conclave and the Red Cross of Constantine, and he was a Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priest. He was a member and deacon emeritus of the First Christian Church of Lexington, where he served on the pulpit committee in 1976. His wife, Bernadine Thelma Rider, died in 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Jan Rider McCoy, Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
