He was born June 22, 1921 in Mound City, Kansas, the son of Melvin and Ada Smith Landers. Kenneth was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion of Prescott, Arizona; VFW of Parker, Arizona and the Eureka Lodge AF&AM, Pleasanton, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Cecil Landers. Survivors include one son, Donald Landers of Lakewood, California; one daughter, Diane Frates of Los Alamitos, California; one brother, Virgil Landers of Merced, California and two grandchildren; Lauren and Erik Frates.
