  The Topeka Capital-Journal November 5, 2001 HADDAM --- Vivian I. Kolars, 83, Haddam, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at a Belleville care center. She was born Aug. 20, 1918, in Minden, Neb., to Charles E. and Rose Nelson Partridge. She graduated from high school in Tucson, Ariz., and graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg. She lived in the Haddam community for many years. She taught music and language arts in Haddam area schools more than 31 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Haddam. She married Ed Kolars in 1942. He died March 6, 1988. Survivors include a son, David Kolars, DeKalb, Ill.; a sister, Winnifred Trusky, Tucson, Ariz.; and a grandson.
