  Olney Daily Mail (IL) August 11, 1998 RUTH E. BURGENER, 91 of Chesterfield, Missouri, formerly of Olney died Sunday August 9, 1998 at St. Luke West Hospital in St. Louis. Burgener was born November 29, 1906 in Dundas, the daughter of Carl and Lillian (Haskell) Franklin. She married Everett E. Burgener August 4, 1928 in Lawrenceville. He preceded her in death July 18, 1989. She was a homemaker and had taught school at the Oakdale School near Dundas. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in Olney and Goodwill Rebekah Lodge #201. She is survived by two sons, Robert Burgener and his wife, Eileen of Chesterfield, Mo. and Willis Burgener and his wife, Gloria of Des Peres, Mo.; two brothers Cecil Franklin of Olney and Bernard Franklin of Olney; two sisters, Cleo Bunton of Creve Coeur and Pauline Bateman of Olney; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Lawrence and John William Franklin; and two sisters, Ilma Sprague and Mayme Franklin.
