Harry LeRoy Fishel, 55, of Beardstown died Thursday at St. Francis Hospital, Peoria.
Survivors: wife, Judith Ann; three sons, John, Shawn and Ryan Roy Fishel, all of Beardstown; two sisters, Mary Ann Smith and Carol O'Hara, both of Beardstown; one grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Harry died at Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois on May 25, 1995. He is survived by his wife Judith Ann; three sons, John, Shawn and Ryan Roy Fishel, all of Beardstown, Illinois; two sisters, Mary Ann Smith and Carol O'Hara, both of Beardstown; one grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Mr. Fishel was born to Harry Simon and Emma Viola Beaver Fishel on May 13, 1940. He married Judith Ann Rogers of Beardstown on November 12, 1966.
For twenty-five years, Harry was a conductor for the Burlington Northern Railroad and a member of the United Transportation Union Local 196. Ge served as a Beardstown Police Force caption from 1966– 1970. He was a member of Beardstown American Legion Post 605, having served in the U.S. Army from 1961– 1965. He was also a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Beardstown.
His parents preceded him in death.
