Roger was born on June 24, 1947 in Pontiac, IL. a son of John and Frances (Fishel) Dobbs. He married Gayle Louise Plowman on May 1, 1966 in Pontiac, IL. She preceded him in death in April of 2003. Survivors include one son: Jerry (Brenda) Dobbs of Graymont, IL. and one daughter: Jennifer K. Dobbs. Roger was preceded in death by one brother: Jerry; and one sister: Gloria. Roger served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. He served as a deputy for the Livingston County Sherriff's office for 25 years. He will be greatly missed.
