  Journal Gazette & Times-Courier January 21, 2005 CHARLESTON -- Mabel A. McDade, 91, of Charleston, passed away at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. Mabel was born November 28, 1913 at Charleston, daughter of Clarence and Ione Waltrip Montz. She married Raymond G. McDade, April 1, 1932 at Charleston; he preceded her in death, March 2, 2000. She is survived by her children: Raymond R. McDade and his wife Joyce of Jacksonville, IL, and Patricia Gebhardt of Springfield, IL; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren also survive, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and five sisters. Mabel was a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Pioneers Telephone Club. She retired from Illinois Consolidated Bell Telephone Company after 29 years of service.
