Barbara Ann Haskell, born in East St. Louis, Illinois on November 4, 1947, peacefully passed away on November 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Charles and Martha Ozment, her sister Carmen Watts, and brother-in-law Robert Watts.
Barbara married the love of her life, Howard N. Haskell, on November 25, 1967. Together they embraced life's journey, raising three cherished children: Lori Marshall (Jim Marshall), Kristen Gideon (Barry Gideon), and Todd Haskell (Emily Haskell). Her legacy continues through the joy she found in her eight beloved grandchildren: Cody, Jacob, Austin, Cole, Carson, Jack, Brock, and Brianna.
Barbara was passionate about her faith in Jesus Christ and dedicated herself to serving her church community. She found immense joy in supporting her favorite sports teams, the Houston Astros and the University of Texas Longhorns. Her love extended beyond people to include her cherished Bassett Hounds, which she trained and adored. Barbara touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
