  Herald & Review (Decatur, IL) May 18, 2000 VANDALIA - Olive Pearl Funk, 100, of Vandalia died 12:55 a.m. Tuesday (May 16, 2000) in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia. Mrs. Funk was born Sept. 30, 1899, in Shobonier, the daughter of James and Lucy Anderson Klinge. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Vandalia, and Royal Neighbors of America. She married F. Earl Funk April 29, 1917, in Shobonier. He preceded her in death June 17, 1969. Surviving are her daughter, Marcella Freeland and husband Kenneth P. of Vandalia; grandsons, Kent L. Freeland and wife Mary Anna and Jerry G. Freeland and wife Camilla "Mick," all of Vandalia; great-grandchildren, Ty, Jamie, Katie and Kris Freeland; nephew, Virgil Klinge of Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Fred and Rollie Klinge.
