Sarah J. "Sally" Mullin, 82, of Main Street, died on September 26, 2005 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford.
Mrs. Mullin was born in Cambridge, MA on September 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Frederick and Grace (Grindle) Prentice.
In 1950, she was united in marriage with Shirley E. "Shorty" Mullin in Boston, MA and they moved to this area shortly after.
Mr. Mullin preceded her in death on November 28, 1981.
She had resided at the Folts Home, Herkimer for the past few months. She was a 44-year member of Adirondack Unit #1118 American Legion Auxiliary and a 34-year member of the Kuyahoora Valley Memorial Post #1554 V.F.W. Auxiliary. Sally served four terms as president of both Auxiliaries. She was also a member of Middleville Memorial Post #7220 V.F.W. Auxiliary.
She is survived by three sons, Elwin H. Mullin of Cold Brook, Charles R. Mullin of Ilion and Richard B. Mullin and his wife Debbie of Herkimer; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two dear friends, Rachel Eckler and Agnes Vincent.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Linda, three brothers and one sister.
