Rainsford Harding French III, 58, of Anadarko, Oklahoma, passed from this life at his home on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Mr. French was born in Los Angeles, California on December 20, 1957 to Rainsford Harding French II and Annie Lena French. Rainsford, aka "Roach" to many friends and family, attended Anadarko public schools and eventually the Caddo Kiowa Vo-Tech.
On October 2, 1982, he married the love of his life and partner in crime, Sharon Kay French, at Redstone Baptist Church. They were married for 33 years and in that time they had five children and shared many wonderful memories together.
Rainsford worked in construction doing drywall for most of his adult life. He enjoyed listening to classic rock, people watching, playing trivia with his "women" on Kool 105.5, sitting on the front porch, and playing with his dog, Boscoe. He loved to visit with his kids and grandkids any chance he got along with friends.
Left to carry on his memory are his mother, Lena of Upland, California; wife, Sharon of Anadarko; one son, Rainsford Dillon, of Anadarko; four daughters, Jamie Pettit and husband, Jerel, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Kate Vaughn and husband, Ryan of Los Osos, California, Sarah Abbott and husband, Josh of Mustang, Oklahoma, Annie French of Anadarko; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Carissa Deehring of Upland, California among many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and in-laws.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rainsford; brother, Stanley Moran; grandparents, Octaviano and Louise Villicana and two best friends: Mike Edmondson and Barry Hoag.
