  The Laconia Daily Sun San Jose, California — Nancy J. Vose, 75, of San Jose, California, passed away suddenly on Aug. 23, with her two daughters at her side. Nancy was born on Oct. 2, 1947, to Charles and Barbara (Atherton) Vose in Lynn, Massachusetts. In 1959 her family moved to San Jose, where she lived for 25 years until she, her daughters and her parents relocated back to New England. For many years Nancy enjoyed gardening, quilting and hiking with her beloved black lab. She was an active member of the New Hampton Community Church until 2017, when she moved into assisted living in Meredith. In 2020, her daughters decided to bring her to California to be closer to her immediate family. Nancy is survived by her brother, Chuck Vose of New Hampton, New Hampshire; daughter, Jennifer Broock of San Jose, and daughter, Sarah Buckholdt; and grandchildren, Hank and Betty Buckholdt of Scotts Valley, California.
