Virginia Jean Guttadauro, 65, was born in Stoneham Massachusetts to Robert and Eva Emery, and was the eldest of two children.
In 1965, she graduated from Saugus High School and went on to graduate from Whidden Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1968.
Jean married her high school sweetheart Tom Guttadauro in 1969 and settled in Tewksbury MA, where they had two children, Tom and Tina.
Her career spanned a successful 30 years, where Jean worked in many nursing positions from rehabilitation and pediatrics to emergency and surgery. She decided to move to Colorado in 2005 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Jean was blessed with two grandchildren and two nieces. She had a love for exercise and made friends wherever she went while enjoying aerobics, jazzercise, and swing dancing. In Colorado Jean discovered her great love for the outdoors and became an avid hiker and snowshoer. Jean had climbed several Colorado Fourteener's and ran in many BolderBoulder races with her friends. Jean, 65, past from this life unexpectedly at her home in Superior Colorado.
She is survived by her ex-husband Tom Guttadauro, her brother and sister-in-law Bob and Julie Emery, her son and daughter-in-law Tom and Jen Guttadauro, her daughter and son-in-law Tina and Mike Soucie, her cherished grandchildren and nieces; Madison Jean Kerndt, Rocco Soucie, and Lily and Leah Emery.
