O'Leary, Rita A. - Saginaw, Michigan - Passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Covenant Health Care - Cooper. Age 78 years.
Rita A. Ballard was born on August 25, 1930 in Hale, Michigan to the late Harold and Lula Mae (Mitchell) Ballard.
She was married to Gerald O'Leary on November 6, 1954 at St. Mary Cathedral in Saginaw.
He predeceased her on September 18, 1996.
Rita was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and The League of Catholic Women. Years ago Rita had been employed with McIntyre Restaurant and Merritt Shoe Store in downtown Saginaw. Rita enjoyed garage sales, consignment shops and playing the lottery.
Surviving are Rita's three daughters; Cheryl (Randy) Dembinski, Andrea (Ralph) Garrison, Maureen (Jim) Haas; grandchildren Autumn, Amanda and Randy, Jr. Dembinski, Alicia Ayala, Jaime (Armondo) Ramos, Michael Garrison and Kayleen (Brandon) Furg-eson, Holly Bennett, Michael (fiancée Angela Fredrich) Haas, Christina Haas and Kelsi Haas; great grandchildren Cody, Breanna, Brandon, Andrew, Sue, Angelino, Sonja, Alex, Caleb, Colton and Alden. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother Olive Ballard.
