Mildred was born in Grand Rapids, MI., on August 31, 1922 to parents Charles and Elsie (Watson) Hascher. She was a long time member at Sacred Heart Church. Mildred enjoyed walking, taking photos, and bus trips. She was a real people person and loved to travel around the United States. She retired from JC Penney after 21 years. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Barbara Vargo; brother-in-law, Eddie Barkowski; sister-in-law, Linnae Hascher; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Jirschele; brothers: Charles Hascher Jr, Robert Hascher; sister, Betty Barkowski; son-in-law, Andrew Vargo.
