  Fundy Funeral Home Thelma Mary Higgins October 13, 1944 ~ December 21, 2016 (age 72) With sadness the family announces the passing of Thelma Mary Higgins which occurred on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born 1944 in Saint John, she was the daughter of Kathleen (Cassidy) Pickard and the late Ronald Pickard. Thelma was employed many years as an RNA at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a childcare provider. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son Arthur Higgins (Julie London) of Upper Golden Grove; brother Charles Pickard (Margaretta) of Vancouver, BC; and sister Theresa Wright of Saint John; one grandson Levi Higgins; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with her father, she was predeceased by her sisters Cathy Cook and Rose Marie Pickard and her brother-in-law Ronald Wright.
