Brunswick— Marilyn Leona Allen Haskell, age 87, died Saturday May 4, 2024 at Maine Medical Center, Portland.
Marilyn was born November 13, 1936 in Bowdoinham, a daughter of Lithco and Elizabeth Alexander Allen. She married Warren Hamilton Haskell April 21st 1962. Mr. Haskell died in 2003.
She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to sew, crochet, and taking great care of her family and loved ones. She spoiled everyone with her home cooked meals and baked sweets.
She was a member of the Brunswick Church of the Nazarene, serving as church secretary for several years. Her unwavering faith made her a humble servant of God. She believed in the power of scripture and relying on God for strength and guidance. She now enjoys the fruit of her labor, resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren; a son, Mark Haskell; a granddaughter Lacey French; her fourteen siblings, Frances Allen, Rose Allen, Helen Allen, Raymond Allen, Robert Allen, Wilbur Allen, Herbert Allen, Lillian Allen, Charles Allen, Betty Allen. Madeline Allen, Lorraine Allen, Carolyn Allen, Carroll Allen.
She is survived by a son, Dale Haskell of Topsham; a daughter Katherine Haskell French of Brunswick; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
