Her late parents were Herbert and Alberta Smith. She lived in Boston, Mass., with her late husband, Winthrop Irving Prentice. She retired as a bookkeeper for the Polaroid-Land Corporation before moving to Bradenton. She was active in Eastern Star and Palma Sola Presbyterian Church.
