  Union-News (Springfield, MA) March 16, 1996 Barbara (Harris) Scott, 78, of 32 Russellville Road died Thursday at a local nursing home. She was an art teacher, a master knitter and designer, and the owner and operator of a yarn shop in Bourne. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Art (now the Massachusetts College of Art), and a longtime resident of Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod. She moved here 11 years ago, and worshipped at the Wyben Union Chapel. Her husband, Sidney E. Scott, died in 1975. She leaves two daughters, Diane Scott-Brodeur of Grovetown, Ga., and Donna H. Scott of Westfield; a brother, Robert C. of Enfield; three grandsons, Michael C. McCann, James A. McCann, and Sean P. McCann.
